Wingstop Lands First Location in Elsa
‘The Wing Experts’ open special location with extra menu items at 510 E. Edinburg Ave.
DALLAS (June 20, 2014) – Wingstop fans in Elsa have scored their first Wingstop Sports restaurant. The award-winning wing chain, with more than 640 locations, recently opened its newest restaurant at 510 E. Edinburg Ave., and one of the few hand-selected sports-themed locations in the country.
This is the first location for “The Wing Experts” in Elsa, and the 24th Wingstop in the Rio Grande Valley region of South Texas, which will operate under the leadership of Brand Partner John Ortiz.

In addition to the chain’s signature cooked-to-order classic and boneless wings in 10 original flavors, the Wingstop Sports menu features made-in-house appetizers such as Crispy Green Beans and Loaded Fries; sandwiches and wraps, including the Grilled Chicken Fajita Wrap and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and salad options include a Club Salad and Caesar Salad. Sides are made fresh daily including hand-cut seasoned fries, made from #1 Idaho potatoes. Wingstop Sports offers an extensive line of beverages including soft drinks, bottled beer and beer on tap.
