Wingstop "Flavor Fight" Heats Up Social Media, Gives Fans' Taste Buds the Vote And Chance to Win Free Wings for a Year

Wingstop and Dr. Pepper launch the first-ever #FlavorFight contest on social media, inviting fans to vote for their favorite Wingstop flavors.

DALLAS, Texas (Dec. 18, 2013) – It’s a fight, alright! And it’s heating up on social media as fast as the atomic sauce on a Wingstop wing.

Wingstop and Dr. Pepper have launched the first-ever #FlavorFight contest on social media, inviting fans to vote for their favorite Wingstop flavors and the chance to win some delicious prizes.  Choose between two flavors in a series of flavor fights on Twitter and Facebook and there could be some extra celebrating in the New Year!

From now through December 23, Wingstop enthusiasts have a chance to win GameStop gifts cards for the highly anticipated WWE 2K14 game and the ultimate prize of a one-year supply of wings from Wingstop.

“It’s no surprise to us that game releases and wing-cravings go hand in hand with our fan base,” said Director of Digital Marketing for Wingstop Erin Levzow. “With this being the season of giving, the #FlavorFight campaign let’s us honor that winning appetite for both with the only thing going down for the count being flavor votes.”
