Iraj and Shagu Agahi awarded “Single Unit Operator of the Year” at Wingstop 10th International Convention

RICHARDSON, Texas - Wingstop honored its top performing franchise Brand Partners and vendors during the company's 10th International Convention at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas earlier this month where Abilene Wingstop owners, Iraj and Shagu Agahi, were recognized.

Iraj and Shagu Agahi were honored with the "Single Unit Operator of the Year" award for their entrepreneurial spirit, hard work and dedication to amazing hospitality and costumer service. And because of that commitment, their restaurant garnered such a large fan base in the past year that they recently added on to the floor plan in order to accommodate more dine-in seating.

The Agahis also received a "Top Gun" award at the convention, which is given to Wingstop restaurants that exemplifythe highest quality food, outstanding operations and over-the top-hospitality.

The Wingstop 10th International Convention was a three-day event held April 7 - 9 at the Red Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas and featured an awards dinner, keynote speech from best-selling author John Gordon, a vendor reception and informational breakout sessions.

With a sole focus on cooked-to-order chicken, the Wingstop menu features classic and boneless wings, chicken strips and Glider sandwiches - all sauced and hand-tossed in 10 intense flavors.
