Nacogdoches Business Owner Honored At Wingstop Convention
Cassandra Stokes awarded the Spirit Award at Wingstop 10th International Convention
RICHARDSON, Texas - Wingstop honored its top performing franchise Brand Partners and vendors during the company's 10th International Convention at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas earlier this month where Nacogdoches Wingstop owner Cassandra Stokes was recognized.
Cassandra Stokes was honored with the "Spirit Award" for her exemplary dedication to the Wingstop brand and Nacogdoches community. The award recognized Stokes as a community ambassador, a dedicated brand promoter and for upholding a culture of excellent guest service and employee appreciation. Stokes also supports fellow franchisees through her participation in the Wingstop mentor program.
"Cassandra operates an exemplary restaurant in Nacogdoches and we are honored to have her as a member of our franchise team," said Charlie Morrison, Wingstop CEO. "It's thanks to the hard work of our valued Brand Partners like Cassandra and their dedicated crew members, that Wingstop is one of the fastest growing restaurants in the country."
Wingstop honorees were comprised of single-store and multi-unit operators from diverse backgrounds across the U.S. and Mexico. In previous years, Stokes has won the "Single Year Operator of the Year" award and multiple "Top Gun" awards for restaurants that exemplify the highest quality food, outstanding operations and over-the top-hospitality.
The Wingstop 10th International Convention was a three-day event held April 7 - 9 at the Red Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas and featured an awards dinner, keynote speech from best-selling author John Gordon, a vendor reception and informational breakout sessions.
With a sole focus on cooked-to-order chicken, the Wingstop menu features classic and boneless wings, chicken strips and Glider sandwiches - all sauced and hand-tossed in 10 intense flavors. Homemade side dishes include fresh-cut seasoned fries, made daily from Idaho potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, veggie sticks and house made ranch and bleu cheese dips.
