Wingstop of Broward County to Donate Wings for ‘War of the Wings’ Contest
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Wingstop of Broward County will donate wings for the ‘War of the Wings’ tasting contest on Friday, October 30 at 5:30 p.m. The contest benefits the Broward Outreach Center and features participants from local eateries throughout the county.
The contest kicks off Friday, October 30 at 5:30 p.m., just prior to the North Broward Preparatory School football game, located at 7600 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Fla 33073.
Attendees have an opportunity to sample wings and vote on their favorite. Admittance is $10 per person and all proceeds benefit the Broward Outreach Center, a homeless shelter adopted as the local charity of the year by the student government of the North Broward Preparatory School.
“We’re donating wings in all nine of Wingstop’s proprietary flavors in an assortment of both regular and boneless wings.” said Robert Durham, owner of the Deerfield Beach Wingstop. “This contest is a great opportunity for local businesses to get involved with the community. These students have organized an event for a wonderful cause and we’re honored to participate.”
